Hysterectomy question.....?

Hysterectomy with childbirth is only done when there are problems due to bleeding or cancer etc. It is riskier due to the increased blood in the area from pregnancy. Usually someone who has had 4 children as yourself has an enlarged uterus even when you are not pregnant and a laprascopic procedure normally would not be an option. You possibly may be able to have it done lly a few months after delivery when your uterus has returned to a more normal size. That is what I had. Your recovery is much shorter and pain is minimal after the first day or so. If your endometriosis is so severe that your doctor feels you are at risk for bleeding post partum, possibly you could have a C/Sect and hysterectomy performed. Keep your ovary if it isn't affected by the endometriosis if you can. I have one of mine and hormonally I'm doing pretty good. None of us know your full history so be sure to ask your doctor until you are satisfied and fully under the answers. Good luck.
