a middle cl thing .College kids from middle cl homes who failed to get the grades needed for exemption burning draft cards while the sons of the poor and the black hispanic were just shipped out .Ihave also been told that the rich purchased excemptions for their children or had them admitted to branches of the service that had no chance of deployment .Iam genuinely interested in this and would like to know the truth so no tirades and Americans only please as we brits would not have first hand knowledge.
