In the Book the crucible, what are some negitive character traits for Elizabeth?

although she appears to be a good wife, and she is... she doesn't go with her instincts and lacks a little self value. When they come to take her to jail, she automatically tells john to take care of the children.(yes, this is noble) but she atleast needs to let everyone kno that she is innocent.
