Surf lessons in grand rapids mi?

You might be able to find kite surfing lessons or wind surfing lessons there, but not real surfing. You need an ocean to surf on, not a lake, not even a Great lake. I know some folks claim to surf on the Great Lakes. Did you ever see when they do it? When the air temp in in the teens, the water is 35 and there 50 mph winds. That's not real fun in my book. Head east or west, there are oceans either way.
